This film is quite interesting as a combat film about the war on the Eastern front. Unique. I couldn't make out any of the dialogue because of the lack of English subtitles but when I ran a translation in Google, part of the title was Penalty. So I infer that this is about a Russian penal battalion thrown against German positions.
